Tasks & Projects at Municipality of Resistencia, Chaco

In the following sections, I will explain the main tasks I performed at one of my first jobs in the Municipality of Resistencia Chaco, which is my native hometown in Argentina.

While at the Municipality, I started working as a video editor and photographer for different media outlets in the city. Later on (Roughly a year after), I became the head of press for the governor of my city, as well as different political candidates, managing content strategy, publishing campaigns, and small creative teams from other political parties.

In the following few sections, I'll discuss some of my tasks in more depth.

Photography, Video & Community

As said before, I started working as a Photographer and video creator and was in charge of posting and advertising campaigns on social media.

In this position that lasted almost all of 2020, I was in charge of creating, posting, and reporting every metric and insight of each content piece to my superiors on a daily basis.

Head Of Press

After a year of working in the City Council of Resistencia Chaco, I got to know many people in the same industry and rapidly became the head of press for the municipal government.

I also worked with the governor of the city on different political campaigns. My main tasks were coordinating small teams throughout the city to develop different political and social media campaigns and publishing campaigns on media outlets.

First experiences with ADS

In this first year of professional work, I managed some small Meta, Twitter, and Youtube ADS campaigns, learned how to use business platforms, and took my first step on the floor on using social media to leverage paid growth and reach a larger audience.

Conclusion & Final Thoughts

These roles were my first years of professional work, and they helped me a lot. I gained relevant experience in the space and got to know and work with many people from whom I learned a lot.

Although I changed my focus on the type of content I produced in the subsequent years, this job gave me a wider perspective on how content can vary in different contexts.
